Greenhouse Gas Inventory Disclosure

FY 2023 Greenhouse Gas Inventory Disclosure

In our first year of climate reporting, we took our first steps to quantify our direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) as well as relevant value chain (Scope 3) emissions. Partnering with a third-party consultant, we took our first steps to identify our major emission sources and quantify our baseline performance aligned with industry best practices. We calculated our emissions from our direct operations and value chain in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standards. These emissions are summarized below.

Our inventory covers emissions for our fiscal year 2023 (January 1 – December 31 2023) and takes the operational control approach for determining our direct emissions. This includes emissions from our natural gas and electricity from our leased facilities as well as emissions from purchased goods, capital goods, business travel, and employee travel. Where we did not have detailed activity data for our purchased energy, we used reasonable assumptions for our office energy consumption. As we continue to report our emissions in the future, we commit to continually improving our data collection procedures and strengthen the quality of our emissions reporting over time.

Having completed our first formal greenhouse gas inventory, we now have a baseline for our corporate emissions and will seek to manage our emissions through incremental operational efficiency. As we grow our business, we will work to reduce our direct emissions intensity (Scopes 1 and 2). Normalizing our emissions on an employee basis and assessing our headcount growth over the last several years, we commit to reduce our direct emissions intensity by at least 10% by the year 2030.
